Few hours at Premium Plaza at Hong Kong

Walking around for twelve hour inside an airport is not an exciting thing to do. It is boring and difficult to spend the whole time. This happens to us almost every-time when we back from India travel to the USA. This time while coming back we had a twelve hour lay back at Hong Kong Airport.

Mr. Man suggested going on tour in Hong Kong. However, we already took the Lantau Trip few years back, which was a five hours tour. The other tour was longer, and that could be difficult to come back the airport before the flight back to the US.

After sauntering around the airport for few hours we had nothing to do. I'm not a big shopper person. So, the shiny gorgeous shop couldn't entertain me for long. Mr. Man in the meantime decided to spend few hours inside one lounge there.

He talked from lounge to lounge to get the best deal. However, for few reasons we didn’t get any best deals. He was stubborn. Finally he decided to spend few hours  in Premium Plaza First. Believe me, that the best decision at that point. I know, it was expensive, but the money was worth it.

We received a ten-minutes massage, which really made a magic.Massage followed by a hot shower(or vice versa, depends on the what time you'll get) made us as fresh as a daisy. Lastly, the food! That was scrumptious! The plethora of food items were available, and all included. We didn't need to spend extra for food. Lastly, their hospitality was beyond any questions. They bent backward to serve the clients.

I'm sure I will go back there again.

I must be awful to spend so much time waiting at the airport. I'm glad you were able to enjoy some good food though.

Dearest Krishna,
Oh, having a lay-over of some 12 hours can be dreadful. We often had that in Amsterdam but we did solve that very well in our final years of doing consulting internationally. We just checked into the day-hotel within the airport terminal. No need for going through customs or whatever. You just get the room for 12 hours so they rent them 2 x every 24 hours. That is plenty for taking a refreshing shower and for stretching out for a good nap on the bed. Then finding some light food and you feel so much different that way. Sounds like you too found a great lounge for relaxing and feeling rejuvenated for the next leg of the journey.
Hugs,
Mariette

Nice way to spend a stopover coming home! I like the stained glass Disney photo! My know people who fly to Nicaragua and their layover in Houston is 5 hours. They go to a movie theatre at times. Have a good day!
