Five on Friday

Monday:The spring break is over. We had to go back to our normal routine. Though I wanted to be over, as kiddo was getting bore in the house, but I was not prepared for the morning rush.I was feeling pretty sluggish is the morning. I literally dragged myself. On the top of that I woke up late in the morning. Last week I took it easy, and was not it rush. So, I was still in the slow mood in the morning. Anyway, I managed to do everything on time, and went for a good walk in the morning after a long time.

Today was not pretty much normal. I didn’t do much thing today. Yesterday I cooked, and I had leftover, so I didn’t need to worry about the dinner.

I’m forgetting everything. Today morning my son and breakfast book club. That totally went out of my mind, even kiddo forgot that. In the afternoon, while I was doing dishes, suddenly it struck in my mind.

Kiddo was not a good mood since yesterday afternoon. Yesterday he was goofing around in the playground during lunchtime. One of his friend kicked in the air, and he got inspiration from him. He kicked in the air too, and one of his shoes flew off from his foot, and landed on the roof of the school. There was no way to take that down. So, he was in school rest of the day in one shoe. He was very upset as he lost his shoe. However, I felt relief. Actually, past few months I had been begging him to let the pair of shoes go, as it was in ramshackle condition, while a brand new pair was sitting in the shoe rack. Am I sneaky?

Today was as usual a busy Friday. Since morning I did cooking, cleaning, folding laundry, and so on. In the meantime I went to school to do the Friday folder. As result of that I was extremely tired in the evening, and I declared that i was not going to any more jobs before dinner.

The week after the breaks are always tiring, I think. Sounds like a new pair of shoes for your son was meant to be. Hope you get to have a bit of a restful weekend!
