Summer Fun 1

Lindsay Wildlife museum

At the ripe age when sit down in our slow life and delve down in our memories, the memories of childhood raise up from the abyss to the top. Childhood memories are often sweet. We do not recollect our performance in school, but we can vividly remember what mischiefs we did during that time. We cannot remember how much we studied during summer, but can remember how we made excuses to get rid of the same during that time.
Those little memories always make us smile. In this age we can shower plenty of games, dresses, shoes, and many more consumable stuff on our children, but I bet they will remember any of them. As the children grow up so fast, that we hardly get time to spend with them. Only few years of life they love to go out with parents, want the parents to be involved in every activities. Those few years for parents also to be cherished through out the life. So, all the summers when the little ones are at home, are the time to make beautiful memories, whether crafting, going outdoor, visiting some museum, doing chores together.

This year, I’m trying to this all little things together. We cleaned our cars together, we visited library, and many more. We also visited a little museum.
no, these are models

Lindsay wildlife museum is not a big one, rather it is tiny. They have only few tiny animals. But the beauty of the museum is , all the animals are rescued. They also few endanger species, like we saw carpeted salamander, which is native to California, and cannot be seen any where in the world.

The eagles, owls, the road runner, the opossum all are rescued creatures. From there we came to know many little facts about animals. The most astonishing was opossums are marsupial. I really didn’t have the idea. We also came to know that, ravens have different color feathers, only they can see, and that way they distinguish one raven to another.

The visit not only enrich my son’s knowledge, also mine. It was a great time we had together.

It was our first outing in summer, and we decided to do many more during that two and a half month long vacation.

Hello, the wildlife museum would be a favorite of mine. As a child, I loved all the critters. I am happy these animals were rescued. Spending time with your children, is quality time. Enjoy your day and week ahead.
