Eating out at Locanda Ravello

Sometimes in the busy life we forget to enjoy little moments. Sometimes I feel just suppress in day to day life. However, it is really difficult to squeeze out few moments to go out. So, one day while kiddo was in school, we both snuck out to eat lunch together. It was a total surprise to me. It was a Friday. The Fridays are always busy. I usually  try to finish all kind chores including cooking, so that I can spend the weekend without worrying about food and cleaning.
Bread was serve with olive oil. However, what the other ingredient was used I don't know, which made the dip delicious.

That very Friday after dropping kiddo at school, Mr. Man declared that we both would got out for a lunch.
The soup was very light and tasty.

The weather was not good in the afternoon. It was cold, and drizzling. Anyway, he took me to Locanda Ravello in Danville. From the street we entered a little cobblestone path to a very narrow door. One gut came out and ushered us inside. It was an Italian restaurant, and inside it was very simple and cozy. Even they had option to sit out side covering one self in blanket.
Aha! My favorite salmon!

I took a soup, it was very light and delicious. I also tried salmon, I forgot the name of the dish. That was really lip smacking. Mr. Man went for scallops. I’m not fond of that. However, he loved that.
Scallops were served directly on the frying pan!

It looks like you had a lovely lunch together. The other ingredient in the olive oil is Balsamic vinegar. Delicious isn't it?

Oh, I would have chosen the scallops as well - I love them but don't cook them at home. All the dishes look really delicious. Could it be Aceto Balsamico that is in the olive oil dip?
