Cape Cod

The gloomy gray sky had been indicating a bad wether in Rhode Island. On the top that our tired mind and body was longing for some rest. Quickly grabbing some snacks we headed toward Cape Cod, our last stop to stay that night. Next day we had flight to head back to our nest.

Rain was oozing out from the sad gray sky, and we were driving to the destination in sleepy eyes. After crossing a bridge ( I forgot the name) we entered in Cape Cod. It was a dull evening, rain was splashing, no one was on the streets, the picturesque houses were silent, and tightly closed, yet I understood that was a great place for leisure vacation. Amid rain we reached out hotel Bluegreen Vacation Rental.

On that wet and cold day we entered in a nice cozy studio room shivering. I must say that it was best every hotel I’ve ever been stayed. Mr. Man got that room only on $90 by bidding. I think he bade on Priceline. Everything was very cozy and beautifully scented. After a long and tiring day we get a little energy back.

The next morning was the last morning of our trip. We woke up lazily, got ready and left. Before leaving the hotel we just went to take look of  the private beach of the hotel. Though it was freezing, and the wind was just cutting our ears, still it was very mesmerizing. After the heavy rain a day before, the sun came out and was shinning softly. The soft yellow rays had been making tiny inkling stars as the water rippled by the wind.

We had few places in our plan to visit before leaving Cape Cod. First was Nauset Lighthouse which is the most famous, and most photographed lighthouse in Cape Cod. We knew about Nauset lighthouse, but didn’t know about Three sisters lighthouse. While driving toward the said lighthouse we spotted three comparatively small lighthouses in a row amid thick green, which couldn’t be visible from ocean. We decided to comeback at the same point after viewing the seashore. In front of the lighthouses there were no place to park the car. Moreover, the lane was too narrow to park a car. Anyway, Mr. Man somehow managed to park on the side. I ran into the woods to take a good view of the lighthouses.

I found out that those three light houses were on the sea shore before. However, they were decommissioned in early 20th century and laid there. In the place of the Nauset lighthouse was built.

After that we abandoned our other plans in Cape Cod. we decided to have lunch there. Senior and junior was dying to eat lobster before leaving. However, all the restaurants were closed in Cape Cod. We decided to drive toward Boston, and we would try to find some restaurants on the way. We found out a little cozy restaurant name Red Cottage Restaurant. They both of them fulfilled their desire to eat lobster. It was our last stop. Then We started for Boston.
