We started in the morning from north Conway, and we were driving through the green state Vermont to our next destination, Moss Glenn Falls. The green state is the perfect name of Vermont. As long as we drove we only saw beautiful green pastures, fall colored tree with few evergreens peeking from the bright fall color.
From plane land, gradually we reached Stowe Mountain passing beautiful small towns.
We reached the little parking area of the falls. First we move ahead according to the map, but there we couldn't find any place to park, or any sign of the falls.
Then we drove a little back to find the parking space. There was nothing written, but we could hear the sound of water. We started walking with the sound of the it. First we found a broken boardwalk. It always reminds me my childhood days when we friends walked on the fencing wall. During our vacation time we walked on the wall keeping our hand wide open to keep balance.
Anyway, after crossing in the boardwalk we started walking on a narrow pebble pathway, keeping a river on the right side. The little mountain river was flowing in full force. We understood the falls might be some where . The structures of the hill was very different. It didn't look like big boulders, but it looked like some thick stone slabs were stacked together. And the top of the stones were very flat, a little slippery, and a little slanted.
We started climbing the mountain, but couldn't see any sign of the falls. It was not that we walked a lot , but after driving long we were exhausted. I was too tired to climb up. Then we met with one couple, they told that the falls was not very far.
Mr. Man encouraged me to hike, and at last we reached the foot of the falls. That little work paid off. We could see a splendid fall cascading down from a great height. In the middle of the thick forest from a narrow opening water was falling with full force. With the fall color , the view was great.
I was extremely tired. I didn't want to go any other places. But Mr. Man wanted to visit the next place. So we again drove through the Stowe Mountain, passing Stowe downtown. That was a beautiful little town, again we missed to visit due time constraints. When we reached the next place, we found that we had to hike more than one hour to reach the next fall. It was already 5 in the evening. So, we went to the Airbnb house to stay for that night.

I have yet to visit Vermont. I would love to especially in the Fall. Looks like you had a good time and adventure finding the falls. The picture says it is worth it.

The pictures are beautiful but I don't know whether I can make the hike and the climb. Not as agile as before. That is one beautiful waterfall.
