Struggling to get back in normal mode
I told that I was going on vacation, would be back in five weeks. Five weeks was over long back, but I yet to come back in my normal mode. After spending five long weeks with parents, and in-laws I almost lost my normal mode , due to all pampering from them. I came back two weeks back, but still to overcome the hangover. Due to the time difference of 12 hours, after coming I suffered from severe jet lag. On the top of that I got severe ear infection. Past fifteen days my son and I are suffering from cold and cough.
I cannot stop whining here. Beside all these happenings, our home is getting remodeled. First , the problem was to get the permit from city. It took more than one month to get the permit. In the mean time our contractor already
broke down the parts which is to be remodeled. Now we don’t have any bathroom in our house. We stayed few days in a hotel, then we stayed in a vacant apartment of one of our friends.
Hope everything will be normal soon. Also I can update my blog regularly.

Re-entry is so hard! But there is much to be said for five weeks of pampering and family. Now, fingers are crossed for your house and permits and all.

Wish you all the best! xx
Hope you are feeling better. Not having a bathroom is a big inconvenience. We are planning on our bath redo and I will be staying with my mom when that happens. Janice
The permit process is such a pain! But it will be awesome looking when you are done. If you still don't have a bathroom, maybe you could rent a portajohn? Glad you had fun on your vacation!
Oh goodness, Krishna. Traveling and jet lag and then sick is no fun! Renovating is wonderful when it is finished! I hope your builder will be able to get it all done soon. Feel better. ♥
Thanks a lot dear..

Krishna, it's just for a time...once it's over, you will have a nice home. It's good that you have a builder to do the messy job for you. Hope it won't take too long. I wish you and your family all the best:) Cheer up!
when i was a young girl i have a very serius problem with traveling...
So sorry to hear that you have not been well, hope you are now feeling better. Remodeling is always hard work, particularly the bathroom hope all goes well. Take care.
Don't worry Krishna all will be well in the end and you will have a beautiful new bathroom to pamper yourself in. I forget how long we were without a bathroom and kitchen. We had to settle for a chemical toilet and shower in a touring caravan on our front driveway. I think my husband lost a stone in weight emptying it every day. Half our house was knocked down. Your first bath in your new bathroom will be truly wonderful and you will look back and say it was worth it but don't know if I would do it again!!
Hope my post finds you and your son recovering from your miserable colds. Take it easy.
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy picking some new tiles!!
I hope the permit for remodeling your house will be approved soon. Do take care and hope you get well soon. Have a great day!
Poor you!!

I love traveling but jet lag is one of them that I hate and it does take a long time to get back to a normal routine. I hope you feel better and everything will work out with your house. Take care.
Hello, sorry you and your son were sick. I hope everyone is better now. Home renovations are not fun but in the end they are well worth the disruption. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
Looking forward to remodelled home.
Renovation is a terrible thing but later it will be a great home. Oh, offices everywhere are not for people. They pose problems.
Kisses and greetings, Krishna:)
