A beautiful Spring day

We all look forward to the weekends to catch some extra sleeps. However, all weekends cannot be the same. Some weekends we need to wake up very early in the morning, and drag ourselves out of the bed. Waking up early in the morning is not a problem, but getting out of the bed on a chilly morning is impossible.  

Anyway, I had the same situation last weekend. As the alarm went off I opened my eyes in the dark to realize that rain was drizzling outside. I stopped my mind to think about outside which was going to make the morning more difficult.  Though it was a spring morning, but nothing was springy at that moment. I tried to do things quickly, but at the end we were late. We had to reach to our destination early. Mr. Man drove the car as fast as he could in through the morning gloominess. 

Slowly the weather started getting better. Leaving the freeway we entered a meandering mountain road. The natural portal of sage-green trees greeted us to the town of Moraga.  Thanks to the prolonged rain in California the rolling viridescent hills looked brighter as the light of morning sun started glowing softly from the East breaking the barrier of the clouds. The beauty was spirit-lifting. As we were late we just rushed towards our destination. After finishing our day’s work we left the little town of Moraga.

In the afternoon we were much relaxed, I could spend more time to see the nature outside. We took a break to have some coffee. I just couldn’t help me but to take some pictures of outside.

The cerulean blue sky make the quiet scene mountains more brighter.  The California poppies scattered vibrant orange color on the emerald green of the mountain. The air was already got warm. We could take a fresh air standing outside the car.

The flowering cherries, apricots, pears were in full bloom. All the leafless trees were covered with white or light pink color flower.  Time to time the light breeze shook the trees gently, and the trees showered little white petals. It was enchanting, and gave an inner peace.
